Well, not define, but everyone I inherited from them is important, it is because of my mother that I am an half enchantress and it is part of me forever that I am quite thankful for. I am well, thank you very much, I hope you are also well.

That would be difficult. I can barely go an entire day without Tarzan before I get antsy and impatient. I’m sure she misses you just as much when she’s away. But yes, of course, her returns are what make it all worth it. Does she leave often?
“Well it depends on commissions, though she is currently taking a break. But her schedule is far from predictable. Sometimes she will have several commissions one after the other, or she might have lengthy stretches of time with none at all. She tries not to go on longer voyages close together though. Which is quite thoughtful of her actually.”
I see. Yes, that is quite thoughtful of her. Although that must be exciting for her, to be able to go off on adventures every once in a while.
Your mother certainly taught you well! Not to say that any gentleman who doesn’t take his hat off isn’t taught well, of course. [smiles] I’m happy to hear it! I’m doing very well. I’ve met quite a few new friends, and that’s always something to be cheery about, if you ask me.

Yes, I am! I’m afraid I haven’t been back there in quite some time myself…I left for Jamestown a few years ago, and I’ve been here ever since. I sure do miss it though, and it doesn’t help that I left my family behind either… *sighs*
Oh, that must be difficult for you. I can’t imagine being away from my father for any length of time. I almost was, but thankfully he decided to stay with me in the jungle. Have you thought of returning for a visit?

“That I can agree with wholeheartedly.” He smiles softly in return. “As a ship’s captain, Amelia is sometimes gone for long periods of time. Months even. It’s always so difficult. However, my children and seeing her face upon her return make the waiting worthwhile in the end.”

[nods, smiling affectionately] Yes, he is the reason we’ve stayed in the jungle. I’m happy with my decision. I never belonged in London, not really. You would be surprised how freeing the jungle is!
“I’ve never truly been one for the outdoors. However, I can imagine the liberty it would bring. I’m simply too used to modern luxury. You are certainly brave though for moving from such a metropolis as London to the jungle. I doubt I’d be able to make the transition easily.”

Oh, of course! I forget that not everyone knows. Well, that would entail… Tarzan. Have you met Tarzan? He was raised by apes. Isn’t that exciting? He can speak to them and walk like them. And you should see the way he can swing the vines and move along the trees! It’s incredible!
“I’m sad to say that I haven’t had the pleasure, though he sounds like quite the interesting man. The ability to swing on vines reminds me of my wife actually. She is quite at home among the rigging of the ship. But in any case, he’s the reason that you have stayed in the jungle, then?”
